A torn-up roofline after a storm isn't a "get to it next week" problem, and we don't treat it like one — Roof Repair Smedway answers, scopes the damage, and dispatches a crew across Lyons fast.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Lyons, OR job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Hail Damage Roof Repair crew we send to Lyons.
We don't treat licensing as a formality — it's proof that the person on your roof knows what they're doing and that you're covered if anything goes sideways.
Every Hail Damage Roof Repair job, from a single flashing repair to a full Lyons tear-off, gets built to the same standard: the one that holds up, not the one that's fastest to invoice.
Documentation on request, no exceptions.
Storms don't wait for office hours, so our on-call line doesn't either.
Every price is itemized, not eyeballed over the phone.
Crews dispatched from within Lyons, OR, not another region entirely.
Most emergency calls we get trace back to a smaller sign that went unnoticed for weeks or months.
The earlier one of these signs gets a proper look, the smaller the repair usually stays; waiting rarely makes a roof problem cheaper to fix.
Heavy granule loss usually means the shingles are nearing the end of their service life.
A cupped shingle traps moisture instead of shedding it, which speeds up decking rot underneath.
Pinpricks of light in the attic are an early, fixable version of what becomes a leak later.
A spreading brown ring on a ceiling almost always means water is tracking in from somewhere on the roof.
A slow leak or failing ventilation can quietly drive up cooling costs before you notice the leak itself.
Even a small missing section can let in enough water to rot decking in a single storm.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Lyons job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
When wind or hail rips open a section of roofing, we tarp it fast to stop water intrusion, then schedule the permanent fix right behind it.
Every homeowner gets walked through material options before a decision is made, not after.
Flat roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water problems early.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners documented evidence, useful whether or not a claim gets filed.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
We keep this process the same whether it's a single shingle repair or a full Lyons tear-off, because a predictable process is part of what makes a stressful roof problem manageable.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
An itemized estimate is delivered before any work starts, covering materials, labor, and cleanup.
Warranty paperwork is handed over the same day the job wraps.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
Being local means we're rarely the crew still driving in from somewhere else.
We'd rather lose a bid on an honest price than win one that grows later.
Certifications stay current so material warranties remain valid after installation.
Every job includes a written labor warranty separate from the shingle manufacturer's coverage.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
Some roofs need a full reroof; plenty just need one honest repair.
A verbal promise means nothing when you actually need it, so ours is documented and handed over at project close.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
We stage crews across Lyons, OR so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Lyons waiting.
Because our crews already know Lyons's layout, we rarely lose time to a wrong-turn delay that out-of-area companies deal with constantly.
Homeowners just outside Lyons proper sometimes assume they're too far for a standard visit, but our dispatch radius usually reaches further than people expect.
